the u.s. military industrial complex is greatly to blame for this impending disaster. One does not need to be under the bombs to die at the hands of the department of defense.
It is our conviction to follow the nonviolent Jesus yet REGARDLESS OF SPIRITUAL or political BELIEFS all people can attest to the dire importance of caring for creation. The EARTH, which is our only home, needs our HELP today.

~Climate change has been responsible for nearly 500,000 deaths —95% of these casualties occurred in poor countries.
~Rising sea levels, projected to displace over 100 million people , will create a humanitarian crisis of unparalleled proportions.

~ The department of defense, which is the world's largest landowner, is officially ranked as the biggest purchaser of oil in the world , the largest consumer of oil in the U.S. and the world's 31 st largest oil consumer.
~The U.S. military peacetime consumption of oil is 100 million barrels a year , this number escalating considerably in times of war to about 140 million barrels.
~ The American GI is the most energy-consuming soldier in the world. In 2005 the Army burned oil every three weeks equivalent to the gasoline used by all Allied armies in four years in WWI.
